Feeling unworthy, called and anointed, but not willing to go, describes Pastor Dr. Tyrone Haywood before he established and cultivated a personal relationship with the LORD and accepted the call to pastor. Pastor Haywood’s mom, Mother Hallie Haywood went to what was referred to as a “sanctified (Pentecostal) church” in the city of East St. Louis, IL. As a small boy, he and other kids often played church as a fun activity. Tyrone would role-play as their Pastor and God would actually anoint him. Saved at the age of 8, he made a confession of faith in God’s plan of redemption and received God’s saving grace. As so many others, there was a feeling of unworthiness because of his failure to conquer the sin that so easily beset him. Ministering the Word of God one morning on the subject of “Perfection”, the Holy Spirit revealed to Pastor Haywood in human terms we were not perfect; however, God sees us as perfect because of the redeeming work of Jesus Christ. Later in life, God gave him the promise that He would perfect “that which concerns him”. When you look at Pastor Haywood you find a chosen vessel that God used early in life and has promised to use in his later years even greater. To be used in this End Time generation God took him through a time of preparation before releasing him. In this preparation for the “NOW”, the Ancient of Days set a path that led Pastor Dr. Tyrone Haywood to obtain a Doctorate Degree in Theology with a focus in Teaching and Outreach from Cohen Institute of Missouri. Presently, he serves as the Senior Pastor/Founder of Rehoboth Well Ministries, Inc. working along with Co-Pastor Dr. Pearlie Vinson-Morris in the vision God gave. Pastor Haywood serves as a substitute teacher for Christian Growth Center Church’s Ministry Preparatory Training School and Bible College teaching in the School of Divine Healing in the area of Prayer under the supervision of Apostle Pastor Dr. Ednorleatha Long (Dean), who also is his covering pastor. Along with secular training in many areas of Special Education, and having a Masters of Education in Education Administration, he received mission training at the American Mission Team located in Norris City, IL in 2011. He received his certification as a Chaplain and Trauma Specialist from the International Chaplain Academy of Tulsa, OK in 2015. He is also lifetime member of the NAACP. On October 20, 2017 he attended Joan Hunter Ministry Healing School and obtained his Certificate of Completion. The heart of Pastor Dr. Tyrone Haywood is to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ with miracles, signs and wonders, beyond the four walls of the church to the homes and streets, bringing salvation (sozo) to the needy where the harvest is plentiful and the labors of few. Pastor Haywood wants to equip people to fulfill their purpose in God’s kingdom and send them forth doing the Ministry of Reconciliation accompanied with miracles, signs, and wonders.
